Preventing Immediate Deletion of Journal Receivers

This issue’s utility by Carsten Flensburg is journal receiver exit program CBX912. CBX912 is designed to protect specified journal receivers from accidental deletion by making them available online for at least a week after they are detached. When a program runs the DLTJRNRCV for a journal receiver protected by CBX912, CBX912 prevents its deletion and issues diagnostic message CPF70ED, followed by escape message CPF2117, to the calling program.
