Over the last few months, I have presented several utilities to help you manage NetServer shares. This article is the culmination of that series, finishing up with the command Work with NetServer Shares (WRKSVRSHR). The command provides a full management facility for NetServer Shares, which before was available only through the iSeries Navigator GUI interface.
You can run the WRKSVRSHR command interactively or submit it to batch. When it’s run interactively, the share management options are available; when it’s run in batch or option *PRINT is selected, a report of shares is created.
