This issue presents the complement to the STRJRNLIB command presented in the last issue. Carsten Flensburg’s installment this month is the ENDJRNLIB (End Journaling Library) command, which can help you end journaling your files and other objects in a selected library.
ENDJRNLIB lets you overcome the shortcomings of IBM’s commands ENDJRNPF and ENDJRNOBJ, which restricts you to selecting only one object at a time. ENDJRNLIB will let you end journaling all physical files in a library with one execution of the command. As an added feature, you can also end journaling of Data Areas and Data Queues.
